How is it?
Starting out you only have one option, but as you complete certain objectives you can unlock new characters and abilities. Not too much to go into without spoiling it all, but I’ll go over what I can without taking any of the whimsy of learning new things.
Classic survivors-like but with 4-5 smaller maps. Co op is super fun, and endless just adds to it. Seeing how far your build can take you is always a blast, and none of the abilities feel any worse than others but certain combos can really shine! I have so much fun playing with each of the combinations. Also; the music is fun & the boss music is a banger.
The different characters have different starting abilities & passives, making it more or less conducive to certain builds. If you are playing with multiple people, the effects only apply to you, but you can res teammates.
Overall I enjoyed this game so much, and the devs clearly care a lot, I hope to see more content in the future after the 1.0!
